Missouri high school basketball: class and district assignments announced for 2024

MSHSAA has announced basketball class and district assignments

The Missouri State High School Activities Association announced its class and district assignments for the 2023-24 season on Friday. 

There are 64 schools in Class 6, 64 schools in Class 5, 96 schools in Class 4, 108 schools in Class 3, 108 schools in Class 2 and 113 schools in Class 1.

One of the biggest moves is Cardinal Ritter, last year’s Class 5 champion, moving up to Class 6. The Lions have won three state titles in the past four seasons: Class 3 in 2020 and Class 5 in 2021 and 2023.

Principia, which went 25-7 a year ago and finished second in Class 2, jumps up to Class 4.
