The 2023 Mississippi/Alabama all-star high school football game has arrived.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 12 p.m. CT at M.M. Roberts Stadium on the campus of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. Stay with SBLive for live updates and highlights throughout the game.

SBLive Senior Reporter Tyler Cleveland is on the sideline in Hattiesburg to bring you full coverage from the game, including live updates, video highlights and a game story. You can also watch the game live on the MAC Network.

The Mississippi roster is headlined by the Starkville quarterback-wide receiver tandem of Trey Petty and Stonka Burnside. Petty, an Illinois commit, was named Mississippi's Mr. Football for Class 7A. Burnside is considered one of top uncommitted receivers in the country in the class of 2024.

The Alabama roster is headlined by several Alabama Crimson Tide commits, including 5-star Clay-Chalkville athlete Jaylen Mbakwe and 4-star Parker lineman Jeremiah Beaman.

4TH QUARTER UPDATES

FINAL: ALABAMA 26, MISSISSIPPI 17

INTERCEPTION ALABAMA! Make that five picks for the Alabama defense. And this one will seal the game. Defensive lineman Jamari Payne picks off an attempted screen pass with less than 2 minutes to play and Alabama runs out the clock.

INTERCEPTION ALABAMA! The Alabama defense comes up with its fourth pick of the game - and third from Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. - and takes over at its own 48-yard line with 2:47 left in the game, leading 26-17. Kirkpatrick Jr., from Gadsden City High School, is an Alabama commit.

TURNOVER: Alabama goes for it on 4th-and-17 from the Mississippi 28-yard line and fails to convert. Mississippi takes over, down two scores, with 3:16 left in the game.

Alabama still leads 26-17 with 6:23 left in the game. Curious why Mississippi didn't go for two on its last touchdown to try to make it a one-score game.

3RD QUARTER UPDATES

ALABAMA 26, MISSISSIPPI 17, END OF 3RD QUARTER

ONSIDE KICK! Mississippi surprises Alabama with an onside kick - and recovers it. McComb WR Sanfrisco Magee makes the recovery.

TOUCHDOWN MISSISSIPPI! Trey Petty strikes right back with a 14-yard touchdown pass to Meridian tight end Daniel Hill, who was wide open. Alabama 26, Mississippi 17, 2:37 left in the third quarter

TOUCHDOWN ALABAMA! Opelika quarterback Roman Gagliano throws one up for grabs and Benjamin Russell receiver Malcolm Simmons comes down with it for an 88-yard touchdown. The PAT is no good. Alabama 26, Mississippi 10, 4:09 left in the 3rd quarter.

INTERCEPTION ALABAMA! Trey Petty throws another pick, this one in the end zone on a tipped pass. Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. comes up with the pick for Alabama. Turnovers are killing Mississippi. Alabama still leads 20-10 with under 5 minutes left in the third quarter.

INTERCEPTION ALABAMA! Muscle Shoals DB Xavier Johnson picks off a Trey Petty deep ball on the AL 1-yard line with 8:49 left in the third quarter. Alabama still leads 20-10.

Mississippi will have the ball to start the second half, trailing 20-10.

HALFTIME: ALABAMA 20, MISSISSIPPI 10

Alabama WR commit Ryan "Hollywood" Williams has been the story so far. The Saraland star has two touchdown catches - a 48-yard double-move and a 4-yard fade where he outjumped the DB. Williams recently reclassified from the class of 2025 to 2024.

2ND QUARTER UPDATES

TOUCHDOWN ALABAMA! Ryan "Hollywood" Williams catches his second touchdown pass of the game, this one a 4-yard fade from QB Jared Hollins with 5 seconds left in the first half. The PAT is no good. Alabama 20, Mississippi 10.

FUMBLE! Alabama forces and recovers a Mississippi fumble and returns it inside the MS 20-yard line with less than 30 seconds left in the half.

INTERCEPTION! Mississippi defensive back Patrick Broomfield comes up with a pick to give MS the ball back with just under 3 minutes left in the first half. Broomfield, from Clarksdale High School, is a 3-star Ole Miss commit.

FIELD GOAL MISSISSIPPI: Kicker Hayden Wolfe drills a 38-yard field goal to cut Alabama's lead to 14-10 with 4:33 left in the first half. Wolfe is also an accomplished soccer player as a starter on Clinton High School's back-to-back 6A state champion soccer team.

We've got some pushing and shoving going on. This game means something.

TOUCHDOWN ALABAMA! Crimson Tide WR commit Ryan "Hollywood" Williams breaks free for a 48-yard touchdown reception to give Alabama a 14-7 lead with 7:37 left in the first half.

TOUCHDOWN MISSISSIPPI! Mississippi QB Trey Petty scores on a 5-yard read option around the left end to tie the game at 7-7 with 9:38 left in the first half.

1ST QUARTER UPDATES

ALABAMA 7, MISSISSIPPI 0, END OF 1ST QUARTER

Alabama WR commit Ryan "Hollywood" Williams is putting more highlights on tape:

MISSED FIELD GOAL: Mississippi kicker Hayden Wolfe hooks a 37-yard field goal attempt. Still 7-0 Alabama.

TOUCHDOWN ALABAMA! J'Marion Burnette scores on a 6-yard run to give Alabama a 7-0 lead with 9:09 left in the first quarter. Burnette, a 4-star RB from Andalusia High School, is still uncommitted. He took an official visit to Missouri on Dec. 9 and has offers from Auburn, Alabama, Arkansas and others.

BLOCKED PUNT! Alabama blocks a punt and will take over at the Mississippi 6-yard line. Still 0-0.

The game is officially underway.
