MINNEAPOLIS — The No. 5 Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders defeated the No. 4 Farmington Tigers 57-56 in the MSHSL Class 4A quarterfinals on Wednesday at Target Center.

SECOND HALF UPDATES

The Raiders miss the free throw. Farmington possession down by one with 12 seconds left.

Miles Bollinger hits a big three to put C-DH up buy three. Brandon Hrncir then hits two free throws for Farmington. Raiders have the 1-point lead with 24 seconds, and they will shoot free throws.

Cretin-Derham Hall's Joe Mitchell has fouled out with one minute remaining. He finishes with 23 points. Game is tied. 

Two minutes remain and C-DH leads 54-52.

Farmington takes a 52-51 lead with 3:44 remaining.

Farmington has cut the Raider lead to 51-50 with six minutes remaining. They outscored the Raiders 16-5 over the past six minutes.

Ten minutes remain and C-DH has a 49-43 lead.

Three minutes into the second half and the Raiders lead 40-32.

HALFTIME: Cretin-Derham Hall 31, Farmington 28

The Raiders' Joe Mitchell leads all scorers with 17 points. The Raiders have a 46 percent to 34 percent field goal shooting advantage, but Farmington staying in it with a 13-4 free throw advantage.

FIRST HALF UPDATES

Two minutes remain and Farmington has a 28-26 lead.

Four minutes remain and CD-H leads 26-24. Joe Mitchell is 5-for-5 with three threes and 14 points.

7:10 remains and Farmington has a 21-20 lead. The Tigers have an 11-4 free throw advantage right now. 

Eight minutes remain, and the Raiders had a 17-10 lead, but Farmington has cut it to 17-15.

Twelve minutes remain in the first half and Cretin-Derham Hall's Joe Mitchell has seven points. Raiders lead 12-7.

Three minutes in and Farmington has a 6-3 lead, with all its points coming in the paint.
