Minnesota high school football: 4 games you shouldn't have missed (10/13/2023)

Totino-Grace and Orono play in the week seven game of the week

Here are five games you shouldn't have missed from week seven of Minnesota high school football.

Totino-Grace (5-1)  vs. Orono (6-0)

The Eagles and the Spartans play in a premier game in Class 4A. The Eagles are No. 2, and the Spartans are No. 3, in SBLive's Class 4A computer rankings

The Eagles first season in Class 4A has been a success. Their only loss is to 2022 runner-up Hutchinson.

Totino-Grace is the highest ranked team the Spartans have faced this season.

No. 21 Shakopee (3-3) vs. No. 10 Rosemount (4-2)

Rosemount upset then-No. 2 Lakeville South last week, and a win for the Irish makes them one of the hottest teams in Class 6A.

Shakopee needs to stop a three game losing streak as the Sabers fight for a better seed.

Esko (6-0) vs. Hermantown (5-1)

Esko is in the midst of a special season. The Eskomos have the state's top recruit, Koi Perich, and they are gunning for U.S. Bank Stadium.

Hermantown wont stand in their way of that because the Eskomos are in Class 3A and the Hawks are in Class 4A, but this should be a good matchup .

The Hawks are No. 8 in SBLive's Class 4A computer rankings, and Esko is No. 2 in the Class 3A rankings.

No. 18 Sauk Rapids-Rice (6-0) vs. No. 12 Andover (4-2)

The Storm are 6-0 this season, but their schedule has been easy compared to other Class 5A teams.

One of those teams is Andover. The Huskies suffered two loses after their starting quarterback got hurt. But they've recovered with three straight wins.
