Davison 76, Lapeer 35

The Cardinals and the Lightning played one week ago, and the Cardinals won by one point.

They left no doubt this time, and a tough first-round matchup for an undefeated team turns into a runaway victory. The Cardinals are No. 3 in SBLive's Division 1 computer rankings.

The Cardinals will face Grand Blanc in the next round. They defeated Grand Blanc 35-21 on October 13.

Petoskey 26, Marquette 7

The Northmen fell to the Redmen 21-20 on October 6, but this time they got it done. And they have another opportunity to avenge an earlier loss in the next round.

Petoskey will play Gaylord, a team they fell to 9-0 on September 15.

Coopersville 14, East Grand Rapids 13

This one was bound to be a close one. Coopersville stopped a 2-point conversion with 16 seconds left to advance
