Michigan high school football is inching closer toward the playoffs. Week eight is the second to last week of the regular season, and teams will continue to play for seeding come playoff time. 

No. 8 Cass Tech (5-2) takes on Detroit King (4-3) for the second time this season. The Technicians won the first game 14-7.

No. 2 Rockford (7-0) and No. 12 Grandville (6-1) face off in a top matchup between Division 1 teams.
