Michigan high school football: 5 games you shouldn't have missed from week 6 (9/29/2023)

West Bloomfield and Clarkston face off in the game of the week

Michigan high school football is full of great games this week, but here are five of the most intriguing games in week six.

There are Power 25 matchups, undefeated teams and playoff bubble games.

Here are five games you shouldn't have missed.

No. 8 West Bloomfield (4-1) vs. No. 14 Clarkston (3-2)

The top matchup in week six, the Lakers face their fifth Power 25 opponent this season. Clarkston fell to No. 12 Northville and No. 3 Southfield A&T in the first two weeks of the season, so we'll see if the Wolves can topple a top opponent.

Croswell-Lexington (5-0) vs. Almont (5-0)

An undefeated Division 4 team takes on an undefeated Division 6 team, but Almont has handled other Division 4 teams this season.

No. 17 Dakota (4-1) vs. Romeo (3-2)

A big game in the MAC Reed, and Dakota is on upset watch.

River Rouge (1-4) vs. Orchard Lake St. Mary's (2-3)

Both of these teams are on the cusp of missing the playoffs. St. Mary's has yet to defeat a team in Michigan, and River Rouge's only win through a difficult schedule is against an 0-5 Brother Rice team.

No. 24 Adams (3-2) vs. No. 9 Lake Orion (5-0)

The Dragons continue to impress, and a win over Adams would be another mark that the Dragons are a Division 1 contender.
