Warren De La Salle

Warren De La Salle had a big game against Central Catholic this week after losing its first game of the season, and Dan Rohn had his squad ready to play. De La Salle won 14-7 and avoided a two game skid. It was a big win in a big rivalry game.

West Bloomfield

West Bloomfield is another team that desperately needed a bounce back win this week while playing a top team. They ended up taking down Adams, 36-32, and are now 4-1.

Heritage

A loss against Lapeer would’ve given Heritage three losses on the year already. It felt like a must win game, and the Lightning got the job done, 49-21, to improve to 3-2.

Byron Center

What a win for Byron Center this past week against Forest Hills Central. Forest Hills Central was undefeated heading into this clash, but it is perfect no more. Great win for Byron Center.

Muskegon

After starting the season 0-2, Muskegon has now rattled off three straight wins, with the most recent coming against Reeths-Puffer. Great bounce back for this squad.

Cass Tech

Cass Tech is another team that has bounced back nicely after starting 0-2. This team challenged themselves the first two weeks, and they came up a little short. Now, the Technicians are back to a solid 3-2 record.

Grosse Pointe South

Grosse Pointe South has now won three in a row after a gritty 16-7 win against Roseville last week. It is now 4-1 and looking good.

Napoleon

The Pirates defeated a good Grass Lake team 35-26. It keeps the Pirates undefeated season alive, and it moves them to No. 3 in SBLive's Division 7 computer rankings.

Traverse City Central

The Trojans needed a win against Midland to keep their playoff hopes alive. Traverse City Central won 20-13 to stop a three-game losing streak. The Trojans faced top Division 1 teams during that stretch (Lapeer and Davison), and now they enter the more favorable stretch of their schedule.

Charlotte

The Orioles defeated a 3-1 Charlotte squad 23-22 to jump to No. 20 in SBLive's Division 4 computer rankings. The win allows Charlotte to remaining in the playoff hunt.
