Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Minnesota High School Coach of the Week for Sept. 11-17. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 11:59 p.m.

This poll is specifically for fans to vote on the coaches who have been nominated and in no way discredits any other coach who may not be mentioned in our poll.

Justin Pintar, Clarkston

Clarkston started the season 1-2 and desperately needed a win this week to avoid a 1-3 record. Justin Pintar led his team to a gritty 14-10 win against Stoney Creek, and Clarkston is now 2-2. This team is very good when playing to its full potential.

Landon Grove, West Catholic

West Catholic put up another impressive performance this weekend, this time winning 68-27 against Unity Christian. Terrific 4-0 start to the season for Landon Grove’s squad.

Brent Cummings, Rockford

Rockford had a big one this week against Caledonia. Both are considered top teams in the state, and they were both undefeated heading into the game. Brent Cummings and his Rockford team ended up pulling off an impressive 42-16 win.

Josh Shattuck, East Grand Rapids

East Grand Rapids is another Grand Rapids school that has gotten off to a terrific start. Josh Shattuck is doing a great job this year and East Grand Rapids won big again this past week, 42-0 against Greenville.

Christopher Bell, Lake Orion

Lake Orion defeated West Bloomfield 17-13, and the Dragons jumped to No. 11 in the SBLive Michigan Power 25. They are 4-0 on the season.

Mark Cisco, Byron Center

Byron Center picked up another big win last week against Christian. It was a 49-11 win, and Mark Cisco’s team is 4-0.

Tom Danosky, Allen Park

Allen Park looked good again last week in an easy win against Lincoln Park. Allen Park is now 4-0, and Tom Danosky is doing a great job with this team.

Ryan Wilson, Croswell-Lexington (Volleyball)

Ryan Wilson has his Croswell-Lexington volleyball team looking just as good as anyone in the state. The most recent win was in five sets against Imlay City, and it improved Croswell-Lexington to 24-3 on the year.

Sarah Gyger, Swan Valley (Volleyball)

Swan Valley has only lost one match this season. Sarah Gyger has done an outstanding job with this team, and Swan Valley could make some noise in the postseason.

Dominic Lake, Gladwin (Soccer)

Gladwin soccer continues to impress as they are now 11-1 on the season. Great work from Dominic Lake and his team as they look like a major contender this season.
