Brandon Davis-Swain, 4-star defensive lineman, commits to Colorado

The West Bloomfield (Mich.) senior joins Deion Sanders' class of 2024

West Bloomfield (Mich.) football and 4-star defensive lineman Brandon Davis-Swain committed to Colorado on Saturday.

Davis-Swain becomes Colorado's second-highest rated recruit in the Class of 2024, according to 247sports, out of six current commits. He is the No. 24 defensive lineman in the Class of 2024.

He joins 4-star Omar White and 3-star Eric Brantley of Valdosta High School in Georgia as defensive lineman committed to Colorado.

"(Being able to play) for Coach Prime, the beautiful city of Boulder, and the whole coaching staff," Davis-Swain told 247Sports. "The love stood out."

Davis-Swain had multiple visits to Colorado in the offseason, including one to the spring game.

Davis-Swain also holds offers from Michigan, Purdue, Notre Dame and Auburn. According to 247sports, Davis-Swain had visits planned to Purdue (June 15) and Michigan (June 23).

The 6-foo-4, 240-pound defensive lineman is the fourth-ranked recruit in the class of 2024 in Michigan. Davis-Swain made the MHSFCA Division 1 All-State team last season.

Davis-Swain's  West Bloomfield teammates Kari Jackson and Jamir Benjamin are committed to Penn State and Northwestern, respectively. 

West Bloomfield fell to Cass Tech 38-13 in the District semifinals last season.
