We’ve picked out eight junior quarterbacks in Massachusetts that have stood out this season.

We are just past the mid-point part of the 2023 high school football season here in Massachusetts and there’s no shortage of upperclassmen quarterbacks performing at a high level.

It’s no surprise that junior signal callers are showing out in the Green Colony State as that’s been the case in the past many times over. This list of upperclassmen features some of the top junior quarterbacks we’ve seen or have been on the rise in Massachusetts. Take a look at our list and vote for who you feel has been the top performing junior high school quarterback in Massachusetts.

Here are the nominations:

Jayden Barber, Dennis-Yarmouth: Without question one of the top production wise signal caller in the entire state. Barber has completed 131-of-203 passes for 2,165 yards, 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions. 

Dom Papa, Andover: Papa has been one of the best quarterbacks when it comes to taking care of the football, only throwing two interceptions this season. The junior has completed 63-of-110 passes for 1,149 yards and 17 touchdowns. 

Tyler Adamo, Lynnfield: The Pioneers’ signal caller has had a stellar 2023 campaign as Adamo has completed 96-of-128 passes for 1,416 yards and 16 touchdowns to just a mere four interceptions. 

Mikey Galligan, North Quincy: Galligan has been solid for the Raiders as the quarterback has thrown for 1,390 yards on 69-of-169 passing with 13 touchdowns and just five interceptions. 

Kellen Clarkson, Oxford: Clarkson doubles up on defense to play some free safety as well. The quarterback has completed 65-of-119 passes for 1,239 yards and 16 touchdowns. 

Sam Perry, Diman RVT: The 6-foot, 180-pound quarterback has played well throughout the season for Diman RVT. Perry has completed 85-of-154 passes for 1,371 yards and 11 touchdowns. 

Alexavier Figueroa, Gardner: Figueroa has played very efficiently under center for the Wildcats as the quarterback has completed 53-of-83 passes for 1,202 yards and 15 touchdowns to just a mere two interceptions. 

Cam Benedict, Sutton: Benedict has been a solid starter for Sutton this season, with the quarterback completed 64-of-110 passes for 840 yards and 11 touchdowns.
