Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Football Player of the Week for Oct. 19-21 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, October 29th and the winner will be announced in next week's poll. If you would like to nominate and athlete, please email the name and a brief description of his performance, with stats if available, to gary@scorebooklive.com.

Here are this week's nominations:

David Avit, Winston Churchill: The senior rushed 27 times for 237 yards and four touchdowns as Churchill outlasted Richard Montgomery, 64-50.

Evan Austin, Oakdale: The senior quarterback had 211 total yards (120 rushing, 91 passing) as Oakdale improved to 8-0 with a 42-22 victory over Urbana.

Favor Bate, Eleanor Roosevelt: The senior had nine tackles and three quarterback sacks as Roosevelt defeated Suitland, 24-2.

Evan Blouir, Patuxent: The junior rushed for 107 yards and two scores as Patuxent improved to 8-0 with a 27-7 victory over Leonardtown.

Russell Carrington, Oakland Mills: The senior rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns as the Scorpions posted a 22-15 victory over Wilde Lake.

Anthony Dixon, Richard Montgomery: Dixon threw for 412 yards (28-for-45) and four touchdowns in Richard Montgomery’s 64-50 loss to Winston Churchill.

Isaac Eubanks, Leonardtown: The sophomore rushed for 222 yards and a score in Leonardtown’s 27-7 loss to undefeated Patuxent.:

Isaiah Fields, Allegany: Fields had eight carries for 161 yards and three touchdowns in Allegany’s 57-21 victory over Northern-Garrett.

Tymond Foxx, Largo: The sophomore running back rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns in Largo’s 36-0 win over Surrattsville.

Markeith Hines, Paint Branch: The junior receiver had six catches for 128 yards in Paint Branch’s 35-19 win over Blair.

Evan Kuntz, Huntingtown: The senior completed 12 of 18 for 260 yards and three touchdowns in Huntingtown’s 41-7 victory over St. Charles.

Collin Lewis, Chesapeake-Anne Arundel: The senior had 13 carries for 152 yards and four touchdowns in Chesapeake’s 49-6 triumph over Watkins Mill.

Caron Madison, Archbishop Curley: The senior rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown as the Friars defeated reigning MIAA B Conference champ St. Mary’s, 13-10.

Ian Mauldin, Broadneck: The junior rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown in Broadneck’s 42-6 victory over North County.

Will Patterson, Mountain Ridge: Patterson finished with 12 carries for 145 yards and two touchdowns as Mountain Ridge routed Williamsport, 45-8.

Anthony Rodrigues, South Carroll: The sophomore running back rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns in the Cavaliers’ 22-14 victory over Century.

Roman Spikes, Paint Branch: The senior running back rushed for 139 yards and four touchdowns as Paint Branch defeated Blair.

David Williams, Largo: The junior defensive end finished with six tackles and two quarterback sacks as the Lions defeated Surrattsville.

Chad Wyand, Boonsboro: The senior rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns in Boonsboro’s 42-23 victory over North Hagerstown.

Kendrick Worthington, Loyola Blakefield: The junior running back had himself a day in Loyola's 32-21 victory over Gilman, rushing 29 times for 250 yards and three touchdowns.
