Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Football Player of the Week for Sept. 14-16 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Here are this week’s nominations.

AJ Allen, Thomas Johnson: The senior rushed for 145 yards (15 carries) and three touchdowns and threw for 105 yards and two touchdowns as the Patriots defeated North Hagerstown.

Ethan Arneson, Linganore: The senior running back finished with 204 yards on 26 carries and scored six touchdowns in Linganore’s 42-12 victory over Walkersville.

Evan Blount, Patuxent: The junior quarterback went 15-of-19 for 239 yards and rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns in Patuxent’s victory over Lackey.

David Davis, Northwest: The senior quarterback completed 12-of-23 attempts for 207 yards and three touchdowns in the Jaguars’ 52-29 victory over Richard Montgomery

Shamar Johnson, Northeast-AA: Johnson finished with 153 yards (13 carries) and a touchdown in Northeast’s 47-26 victory over Catonsville.

Miles Halbert, Northern-Calvert: The junior had three receptions for 140 yards and two touchdowns in Northern-Calvert’s victory over LaPlata.

Collin Lewis, Chesapeake-Anne Arundel: The senior running back carried 18 times for 147 yards and two touchdowns in Chesapeake’s 30-20 victory over C. Milton Wright.

Haydn Matthews, Catoctin: The senior rushed for 258 yards and four touchdowns in Catoctin’s 36-20 triumph over Williamsport.

Jayden Moore, Loyola Blakefield: The Duke University commit had 165 total yards, including a 76-yard touchdown in the Dons’ 35-29 victory over Gonzaga (D.C.).

Joel Tristan Ouandi Nana, Bel Air: The junior rushed for 225 yards and a touchdown and added 12 tackles (eight solo) on defense as Bel Air lost to Harford Tech.

Braeden Palazzo, McDonogh: The sophomore quarterback finished 28-of-45 for 323 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another 43 yards as the Eagles lost to Archbishop Spalding.

Isaiah Randall, Northern-Calvert: The senior finished 14-of-15 for 339 yards and three touchdowns and ran three times for 93 yards and two scores in the Patriots’ 42-7 victory over LaPlata.

Shaymus Stull, Catoctin: The junior had 154 yards receiving and two touchdowns in Catoctin’s victory over Williamsport.

Tyler Womack, Annapolis: The senior running back had 29 carries for 341 yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers’ 42-30 victory over Severna Park.
