Rosepine defeats Amite: Live updates, score of Louisiana (LHSAA) girls basketball Division III non-select state championship (3/2/2024)
HAMMOND, LOUISIANA - It's already been a day of repeat performances thus far at the LHSAA girls basketball "Marsh Madness" tournament.
Earlier on Saturday, Lafayette Christian won its fourth straight championship, Wossman won its third straight and Parkway claimed back-to-back titles.
Now, it's Rosepine which attempts to win its own set of back-to-back state titles. The Lady Eagles go for the double dip in Saturday night's Division III non-select championship game, as they take on Amite.

- Rosepine's talented senior duo of Kelly Norris and Addison Fruge came through in their final game as Lady Eagles. Norris had a double-double of 15 points and 17 rebounds along with one block and four steals, while Fruge finished with 13 points.
- Amite got 22 points on 9-of-17 shooting from Hai'ley Brumfield, and she also had a double-double with 12 rebounds. Miracle Irving added 10 points and two 3's.
- Rosepine repeats as Division III non-select state champions with a late rally to down Amite (Rosepine, 50-46 | Final)
- Amite gets a good look in the lane, but a shot rolls in and out, and Rosepine's Addison Fruge gets the rebound. She draws a foul, goes to the line and hits both free throws for a two-possession lead (Rosepine, 50-46 | :08.1, 4th)
