Shaine Parker, Church Point girls basketball

The 6-foot senior paced the Lady Bears to a 45-44 win over Brusly with 14 points. Church Point is off to a 9-3 start.

Hannah Mouton, Northwood-Shreveport girls basketball

The senior multi-sport star scored a combined 47 points in wins over Lincoln Prep and Red River for the Lady Falcons (11-6).

Brandon Henderson, Woodlawn-Shreveport boys basketball

Henderson scored 13 points as the Knights downed East Ascension, 60-58, in the Rumble on the River. Woodlawn is 11-7 on the year.

Drew Timmons, Archbishop Hannan boys basketball

Timmons scored 26 points to lead the Hawks to a 61-48 win over Southwood. Archbishop Hannan is 6-2 with the No. 10 power rating in Division II select.

TJ Callahan, Episcopal boys basketball

Callahan scored 19 points in the Knights' 65-59 win over Hamilton Christian. The Knights are 8-3 and No. 5 in the Division III select power ratings.

Jordyn Wilson, Ringgold boys basketball

Wilson led Ringgold to a 65-40 win over Mansfield with 18 points. Ringgold is 11-5 and No. 3 in the Division IV non-select power ratings.

Noah Brookter, Southside boys basketball

Brookter scored 20 points to lead the Sharks to a 49-45 win over Alexandria. Southside is 7-1 and No. 6 in the Division I non-select power ratings.

Preston Welch, Teurlings Catholic football

Welch completed 10-of-14 passes for 259 yards and six TDs to earn MVP honors for the Lafayette all-stars at the I-10 Bowl held at St. Thomas More on Saturday. Lafayette defeated Lake Charles, 56-6.

Omari Dupas, Acadiana football

Dupas caught two passes for 100 yards with both going for TDs in Lafayette's 56-6 win over Lake Charles in the I-10 Bowl.

C.J. Charlot, Beau Chene boys basketball

Charlot was named MVP of the St. Landry Parish Tournament after he averaged 18 points, five rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2 steals. The Gators won the tourney.

Lantavious Murphy, Rayville boys basketball

Murphy totaled 20 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks in the Hornets' 51-49 win over Ouachita Parish. Rayville is 6-5 and No. 4 in the Division III non-select power ratings.

Dylan Spansel, Ascension Christian boys basketball

Spansel scored 24 points with eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in the Lions' 56-35 win over Central Private.

Bubba Strong, Calvary Baptist boys basketball

Strong led the Cavaliers to a 52-43 win over Ringgold in the Minden Holiday Classic Championship with 21 points, three rebounds and three assists. The Cavaliers are 10-2 and No. 3 in the Division III select power ratings.

Preston Sanders, Zwolle boys basketball

Sanders, a junior, scored 33 points as the Hawks took down St. Mary's, 49-43, at the Many Invitational. Zwolle is 20-1 and No. 1 in the Division V non-select power ratings.

Mark Perry, Benton boys basketball

Perry scored 26 points as Benton defeated Arcadia, 54-43. The Tigers are 8-6 on the year.

Alanna Benoit, Mandeville girls basketball

Benoit scored 19 points with six rebounds and four steals in a 62-25 win over South Lafourche. Mandeville is 10-4 and No. 14 in the Division I non-select power ratings.

Addison LeBlanc, St. Thomas More girls soccer

LeBlanc had three assists and one goal over a four-match span for the Lady Cougars, who are undefeated in their last 50 games.

Mylia Payne, Southside girls soccer

Payne scored two goals in three matches for the undefeated Lady Sharks, who are 11-0 and No. 2 in the Division I power ratings.

Urijah Carmouche, Southside girls basketball

The sophomore point guard scored eight points on 4-of-5 shooting and came up with several steals in the Lady Sharks' 27-23 win over St. Thomas More. Southside is 11-2 and No. 3 in the Division I non-select power ratings.

Landon Wiltz, Breaux Bridge boys basketball

Wiltz scored 21 points to lead the Tigers to a 52-49 win over their parish rival, St. Martinville.

Braeden George, Episcopal football

George caught a 79-yard TD pass to ignite the Patriots' 23-10 win over the Eagles in the annual Red Stick Bowl.
