Louisiana high school football playoff brackets released for all select and non-select divisions
It's now playoff season for high school football teams across Louisiana.
On Sunday, the Louisiana High School Athletic Association officially released the playoff brackets for the four select and four non-select divisions.
Opening-round action takes place this week. Several higher-seeded teams drew opening-round byes and will return to action with the second round the following week.
Quarterfinal playoffs take place the weekend of Nov. 24-25, and the semifinals take place Dec. 1-2. Once again, those fortunate enough to survive in the semifinals will converge at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans for the LHSAA Prep Classic, which will be held Dec. 7-9.
