Kentucky high school football playoffs: 2023 state tournament brackets, matchups, game times
It is officially playoff football time in Kentucky.
The 2023 Kentucky high school football playoffs kick off this week with all six classifications playing their first-round matchups on Friday (November 3).
Teams will battle it out over the next several weeks and the 2023 KHSAA state tournament will conclude with the state championship matchups being played December 1-2 at the University of Kentucky’s Kroger Field in Lexington.
Here's a look at the schedule for each of the state title games (All times local):
Friday, December 1
- 12 p.m. – Class A
- 4 p.m. – Class 2A
- 8 p.m. – Class 4A
Saturday, December 2
- 12 p.m. – Class 3A
- 4 p.m. – Class 6A
- 8 p.m. – Class 5A
