It's early, but here's a candidate for best matchup of the season: the state's top-ranked team (Fishers) against Indiana's No. 1 senior, Kansas-bound Flory Bidunga of Kokomo.

Fishers won that game, 77-55, last weekend behind a combined 32 points from Keenan Garner and freshman Cooper Zachary.

Here is our breakdown of this week's SB Live Power 25 Indiana high school boys basketball rankings (records through Dec. 12):

1. Fishers (6-0)

Besides the marquee win over Kokomo, the Tigers have noteworthy victories against Noblesville, Ben Davis and LaPorte.

2. Lawrence North (4-0)

The Wildcats have a pair of talented sophomore big men in 6-8 Kai McGrew and 6-7 Brennan Miller. Plus, Azavier Robinson is a junior point guard with multiple high-major offers. They won the traditional rivalry game against Lawrence Central, and knocked off Fort Wayne Wayne last weekend.

3. Cathedral (5-0)

Another team with some youngsters playing key roles is the Fighting Irish. Soph Keaton Aldridge and junior Brady Koehler each delivered double-doubles in a win against Brebeuf, and Aldridge had another one in a victory against Indianapolis North Central.

4. Westfield (5-0)

The Shamrocks already have wins against Kokomo, Zionsville and Guerin Catholic. Trey Buchanan scored 18 on 7-of-9 shooting vs. Guerin.

5. Kokomo (4-2)

It all starts with Flory Budinga for the Wildkats, who were Class 4A runners-up last season. The 6-8 Kansas recruit is a five-star prospect ranked No. 1 among Indiana seniors and No. 6 nationally. But don't sleep on 6-6 Karson Rogers either; he had a 26-point, 15-rebound double-double against New Albany. The Wildkats' losses were to teams ranked above them: Fishers and Westfield.

6. Ben Davis (3-1)

The Giants lost some important pieces from last season's 33-0 Class 4A champs, including big man Zane Doughty and Sheridan Sharp. But don't count them out this year with Northwestern-bound KJ Windham and Mark Zackery IV, the state's top junior football prospect, back to lead the way. They have three straight wins, including a 71-59 victory against Fort Wayne Wayne, after opening with a loss to Fishers.

7. Noblesville (4-1)

The Millers gave Fishers a serious test, leading by 10 at halftime before falling 66-59. They're coming off a 2-0 week with solid wins against Carmel (59-34) and Indianapolis Attucks (51-46).

8. Brownsburg (4-2)

The Bulldogs have been playing close games early, beating North Central by four, Warren Central by five and Chesterton by three as well as losing by three to Franklin Central and by seven to Pike.

9. Indianapolis North Central (3-2)

Papi Rivera has been delivering consistent scoring for the Panthers, who have a close win vs. Attucks and a close loss against Brownsburg. Their other loss was to Cathedral.

10. Indianapolis Attucks (5-2)

A testament to the Tigers' sustained excellence: they recently picked up win No. 1,000 in program history. Dezmon Briscoe is averaging a double-double (12.8 points, 10.3 rebounds) for a team whose losses were to North Central and Noblesville.

11. Anderson (4-0)

The Indians are in the midst of a two-week break after their perfect start.

12. Plainfield (5-1)

Cold shooting cost the Quakers in their first loss of the season, 44-40 vs. Carmel. But they've rebounded with wins against Martinsville and Zionsville.

13. Penn (4-1)

Former Valparaiso coach Barak Coolman won his first four games after succeeding the legendary Al Rhodes. The Kingsmen's lone loss was 38-35 to Concord.

14. Crown Point (3-1)

The Bulldogs, whose loss was vs. Penn, have a notable win over Carmel.

15. Guerin Catholic (5-2)

One of the top Class 3A contenders fell 59-41 to Westfield and was edged 49-48 by Pendleton Heights. Rob Sorensen is a productive scorer who's also an elite 3-point shooter.

16. Center Grove (4-3)

It's been a challenging early schedule for the Trojans, who beat Franklin Central and lost to Franklin (in overtime), Attucks and Warren Central.

17. Lawrence Central (3-3)

The Bears have quality wins over Franklin Central and Zionsville. Their losses were to ranked teams: Carmel, rival Lawrence North and Attucks.

18. Carmel (2-3)

After a season-opening loss vs. Zionsville, the Greyhounds knocked off Lawrence Central and Plainfield before falling to Noblesville and Crown Point.

19. Evansville Harrison (4-0)

The Warriors have scored in the 80s in every game and their closest win was 19 points.

20. Scottsburg (4-2)

Jack Miller scored 26 points as the Warriors rallied from 10 down at halftime to beat Bedford North Lawrence 57-51. The Warriors fell to Brownstown Central and Providence (in overtime) after a 4-0 start.

21. Franklin Central (2-3)

First-year coach Kyle Ballard's initial win for the Flashes was a big one, 49-46 over Brownsburg. Franklin Central lost by four to Ben Davis and by six against both Center Grove and Lawrence Central.

22. Greenfield-Central (5-0)

Braylon Mullins averaged almost 27 points a game as the Cougars went unbeaten on a season-opening, five-game road trip. Included in that run was a notable win at New Palestine.

23. New Palestine (2-1)

Julius Gizzi has been a productive scorer in the early going for the Dragons, whose loss was a four-pointer against Greenfield-Central.

24. Pike (3-1)

First-year coach Jeff Teague already has a signature win over Brownsburg. The Red Devils' loss came against Hamilton Southeastern in their opener.

25. Brebeuf Jesuit (4-1)

The Braves have held four opponents to 47 or fewer points. The only exception came in a 79-63 loss to Cathedral.
