Here are the candidates for SBLive's Indiana High School Athlete of the Week as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

The senior was 18-for-26 passing for 241 yards and a TD in a 35-7 Class 3A state-final win against Heritage Hills.

Payton Baird, South Bend Riley boys basketball

The Bethel commit scored 27 points and hauled down six rebounds in an 81-51 win against LaPorte.

Mason Bales, Northridge boys basketball

The junior had 46 points in wins against Elkhart and Westview, finishing with a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds vs. Elkhart.

Nylan Brown, Ben Davis football

The Kent State commit had a team-high 10 tackles in a 38-10 win against Crown Point in the Class 6A state final.

Uriah Buchanan, Fort Wayne Snider football

The senior had 261 total yards and three touchdowns in a 33-6 win against Decatur Central for the Class 5A state title.

Marvin Campbell, Decatur Central football

In a 33-6 loss to Fort Wayne Snider in the Class 5A state final, the senior contributed five tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery.

Micky Daring, Bishop Luers football

The senior ran for 53 yards and two touchdowns in a 40-3 win over North Posey in the Class 2A state final.

Thomas Gotkowski, Ben Davis football

The Miami (Ohio) commit passed for 152 yards and two TDs with one interception in a 38-10 win over Crown Point in the Class 6A state final

Braydon Hall, Indianapolis Lutheran football

The senior ran for 145 yards and a TD in a 35-28 victory over Adams Central in the Class 1A state final.

Jack Hamilton, Adams Central football

The senior quarterback was 16-for-24 passing for 226 yards and three TDs with one interception during a 35-28 loss to Indianapolis Lutheran in the Class 1A state championship. He also ran for 50 yards and a score.

Cole Hinkel, Goshen boys wrestling

The senior was 10-0 with eight falls at the RedHawk Super Duals, reaching 100 career wins.

Reggie Hinton, Gary West Side boys basketball

The sophomore scored 20 points in a 63-61 win against Valparaiso.

Gio Jimenez, Bishop Luers football

The senior rushed for 98 yards and a TD during a 40-3 win against North Posey in the Class 2A state final.

Riley Kinnett, Bishop Chatard football

The senior ran 25 times for 158 yards and four touchdowns as Chatard completed a 15-0 season and won its 17th state title, beating Heritage Hills 35-7 in the Class 3A final.

Mason Kobelt, John Glenn boys wrestling

The senior was 9-0 at 175 pounds in the RedHawk Super Duals.

Kohen McKenzie, Bishop Luers football

The senior quarterback threw for 149 yards and three TDs in a 40-3 victory against North Posey in the Class 2A state final.

Carson Pieczonka, East Central football

The junior intercepted two passes in a 42-14 win against NorthWood in the Class 4A state championship.

Alijah Price, Ben Davis football

The junior rushed for 141 yards and a TD and also caught four passes for 25 yards during a 38-10 victory against Crown Point in the Class 6A state championship.

Josh Ringer, East Central football

The senior ran 34 times for 251 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-14 win over NorthWood in the Class 4A state final that capped off a 15-0 season.

Preston Sims, Northwestern boys basketball

The junior scored 48 points in wins against Madison-Grant and Eastern.

Zane Skibinski, Ben Davis football

The senior had four receptions for 73 yards and two TDs during a 38-10 win against Crown Point in the Class 6A state final.

Nick Soley, Crown Point football

The senior had four catches for 106 yards in a 38-10 loss to Ben Davis in the Class 6A state final.

NiTareon Tuggle, NorthWood football

The Georgia commit caught nine passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-14 loss to East Central in the Class 4A state final.

Jackson Willis, Indianapolis Lutheran football

The junior completed 13 of 18 passes for 226 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-28 win over Adams Central in the Class 1A state final.

Mark Zackery IV, Ben Davis football

The state's top-ranked junior had six catches for 86 yards and a touchdown in a 38-10 win against Crown Point in the Class 6A state final.
