Here are the candidates for SBLive's Indiana High School Athlete of the Week as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

Jalen Alexander, Hamilton Southeastern football

The senior rushed 24 times for 137 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-21 win over Fishers in the Class 6A Sectional 3 final.

Cody Allen, LaVille football

The junior ran for 196 yards and three TDs, and also had an interception in a 28-14 Class 2A Sectional 33 final win.

Jalen Bonds, Cathedral football

In a 20-3 Class 6A Sectional 6 final win over Lawrence North, the junior ran 32 times for 261 yards and two touchdowns.

Uriah Buchanan, Fort Wayne Snider football

The senior scored three touchdowns in a 49-14 Class 5A Sectional 12 final win over Fort Wayne North Side.

Tyler Cherry, Center Grove football

The Duke commit completed 16 of 17 passes for 178 yards and two TDs in a 35-12 Class 6A Sectional 8 final win over Columbus North. He also scored on a quarterback sneak.

Hogan Denny, Mooresville football

In a 40-39 victory over Indianapolis Brebeuf in the Class 4A Sectional 21 final, the senior ran for 238 yards and two touchdowns in addition to throwing for 249 yards and two touchdowns.

Noah Ehrlich, Crown Point football

The junior quarterback was 9-of-9 passing for 193 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-7 Class 6A Sectional 1 final win over Lake Central.

Larry Ellison, Crown Point football

The junior ran for two touchdowns and caught a pair of TD passes in a 42-7 win over Lake Central in the Class 6A Sectional 1 final.

Kendall Garnett, Westfield football

The junior rushed 23 times for 141 yards and two touchdowns during a 24-12 Class 6A Sectional 4 final win over Noblesville.

DJ Gordon, Park Tudor football

The Harvard commit passed for 246 yards and two touchdowns and had 124 yards and three TDs on the ground in a 41-28 win over North Vermillion in the Class 1A Sectional 42 final.

Thomas Gotkowski, Ben Davis football

The senior was 7-of-9 passing for 138 yards and two TDs and added a rushing score – all in the first half – during a 53-0 shutout of Pike in the Class 6A Sectional 5 final.

Braydon Hall, Indianapolis Lutheran football

In a 57-14 victory over Covenant Christian in the Class 1A Sectional 57 final, the senior ran for five touchdowns.

Rachel Harshman, Mooresville girls basketball

The senior passed the 1,000-point mark for her career during a 61-31 win over Northview.

Marshall Kmiecik, New Prairie football

The senior ran for 236 yards and a TD in a 43-14 win over Culver Academies in the Class 4A Sectional 17 final.

Eli Kolb, Sheridan football

The senior ran 22 times for 141 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-22 Class 1A Sectional 45 final win over Monroe Central.

Mark Kube, Eastern Hancock football

In a 47-14 Class 2A Sectional 38 final win over Winchester, the sophomore rushed 21 times for 217 yards and two touchdowns.

Kyler Kropp, New Palestine football

The senior ran seven times for 76 yards and a touchdown and also had three catches for 73 yards and two more TDs in a 42-6 Class 4A Sectional 22 final victory against Mount Vernon (Fortville).

Lindsey Mangelson, Hamilton Southeastern girls volleyball

The junior Mississippi State commit had 17 kills as the Royals wrapped up a 33-0 season with a 25-18, 24-26, 25-20, 25-15 win over Castle in the Class 4A state final.

Nolan McCullough, Penn football

The senior ran 11 times for 114 yards and a TD and was 5-of-8 passing for a score in a 31-10 Class 6A Sectional 2 final win over Warsaw.

Aubrey Miller, Muncie Burris girls volleyball

The senior had a march-high 16 kills and seven digs in a 25-23, 25-16, 25-17 win over Brownstown Central for the Class 2A state title.

Novell Miller, Mishawaka football

The junior ran for 108 yards and two TDs, including the game-winner with 1:48 left, in a 20-14 Class 5A Sectional 11 final win over Concord.

Gage Pohlman, Batesville football

The junior ran for three touchdowns in a 29-13 Class 3A Sectional 31 final win over Indian Creek.

Bo Polston, Decatur Central football

In a 34-17 Class 5A Sectional 13 final win over West Lafayette Harrison, the sophomore accounted for four touchdowns (two passing and two rushing).

Shania Rhamy, Southwood girls volleyball

The freshman had 13 kills in a 15-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-19 win over Tecumseh in the Class 1A state final.

Donovan Rhodes, Hamilton Southeastern football

The senior had two fourth-quarter interceptions in a 38-21 win over Fishers in the Class 6A Sectional 3 final.

Josh Ringer, East Central football

The Miami (Ohio) commit ran for 135 yards and two TDs and caught a 19-yard touchdown pass in a 47-0 Class 4A Sectional 23 final shutout of Greenwood.

Daniel Shaw, Bishop Chatard football

The junior scored on runs of 4 and 58 yards and added a 44-yard reception during a 28-8 Class 3A Sectional 28 final win over Hamilton Heights.

Slate Valentine, Whiteland football

The junior ran for 261 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns during a 34-10 Class 5A Sectional 14 final win over Terre Haute South.

Makenzie Wagner, Providence girls volleyball

The senior had 15 kills in a 25-19, 31-29, 23-25, 25-21 win over Bellmont in the Class 3A state final.

Malachi Walden, Tri-West football

In a 28-21 Class 3A Sectional 29 final victory over Monrovia, the junior rushed for three touchdowns and threw for another score.
