Here are the candidates for SBLive's Indiana High School Athlete of the Week as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

Luke Barrett, Center Grove football

The junior intercepted two passes – one of which he returned for a touchdown – and recovered a fumble in a 40-14 sectional semifinal win over Franklin Central.

Dylan Bowen, Hanover Central football

The sophomore intercepted three passes, returning one for a TD, during a 41-13 sectional semifinal win over Boone Grove.

Dejanae Butler, Park Tudor girls soccer

The Indiana-East commit's goal gave Park Tudor a 1-0 win over Fort Wayne Canterbury in the Class 1A state championship game.

Justin Clark, Valparaiso football

The senior ran for two third-quarter touchdowns as the Vikings rallied from a 14-3 halftime deficit to beat Chesterton 31-14 in a sectional semifinal.

Noah Coy, Center Grove football

The senior caught four touchdown passes from Tyler Cherry in a 40-14 sectional semifinal victory against Franklin Central.

Gabby Deer, Guerin Catholic girls soccer

The junior's goal lifted Guerin Catholic past Leo 1-0 in the Class 2A state final.

Hogan Denny, Mooresville football

The senior finished with 231 passing yards and a touchdown and 144 rushing yards and another touchdown during a 17-9 sectional semifinal win against Indianapolis Roncalli.

Libby Dowty, Indian Creek girls cross country

The sophomore won the state title with a time of 17:06.7.

Jayden Eagle, Eastern football

The senior ran 19 times for 241 yards and three TDs in a 42-0 sectional semifinal win over Tipton.

Noah Ehrlich, Crown Point football

The junior ran for three TDs and passed for 134 yards and another touchdown in a 42-10 sectional semifinal win against Lafayette Jefferson.

Larry Ellison, Crown Point football

The junior ran for 283 yards and a touchdown in a 42-10 sectional semifinal victory over Lafayette Jefferson.

Tyler Etherington, Mt. Vernon (Fortville) football

Normally a tight end and defensive lineman, the senior accounted for four touchdowns in a 42-12 sectional semifinal victory over Beech Grove.

Jed Galvin, North Posey football

The junior had three TDs in a 35-34 overtime win over Evansville Mater Dei in the sectional semifinals.

Jackson Gilbert, Westfield football

The senior passed for two touchdowns and ran for another in a 37-21 sectional semifinal victory over Carmel.

Thomas Gotkowski, Ben Davis football

The Miami (Ohio) commit threw for 216 yards and added 60 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in a 28-25 sectional semifinal win over Brownsburg.

Colin Guy, Bishop Chatard football

In a 21-10 sectional semifinal win over Guerin Catholic, the senior caught seven passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns.

Antonio Harris, Castle football

In a 35-17 sectional semifinal win over New Albany, the senior has 209 total yards and four TDs.

Eli Moody, Mishawaka Marian boys soccer

The senior scored a state final-record four goals in a 4-0 shutout of Evansville Memorial in the Class 2A state final.

Jacoby Reinhardt, Bethany Christian boys soccer

The goalie stopped three straight shots in the penalty-kicks phase as the Bruins won 3-1 in PKs after a 1-1 draw in the Class 1A state final.

Josh Ringer, East Central football

The Miami (Ohio) commit carried 24 times for 325 yards and seven touchdowns and also added two catches for 38 yards in a 56-20 sectional semifinal win against Martinsville. He now has a program-best 5,910 career rushing yards.

Garrett Sherrell, Brownsburg football

In a 28-25 loss to Indianapolis Ben Davis, the senior rushed for 167 yards – passing 2,000 rushing yards for the season – and three touchdowns.

Darrian Story, Kokomo football

The senior ran 20 times for 183 yards and three TDs in a 35-0 sectional semifinal win against Marion.

Cole Thompson, Noblesville boys soccer

The goalie had seven saves in a 2-0 shutout of Indianapolis Cathedral in the Class 3A state final.

Meredith Tippner, Noblesville girls soccer

The junior had a goal and two assists in a 3-1 win over Bloomington South for the Class 3A state title.

Cameron Todd, Brebeuf boys cross country

The senior won the state title, running 14:55.5.

Owen VanHaaren, Hamilton Heights football

The senior rushed for 103 yards on 24 carries and scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns in a 28-21 sectional semifinal win over Maconaquah.

Roland Vera Jr., Evansville Reitz football

The senior finished with 206 total yards and two TDs in a 42-6 sectional semifinal win against Bedford North Lawrence.

Caiden Verrett, Hanover Central football

The junior ran for a program single-game record 304 yards and three TDs in a 41-20 sectional semifinal win over Boone Grove.

Malachi Walden, Tri-West football

The junior threw for 159 yards and two touchdowns and added a touchdown and 103 yards on the ground during a 42-6 sectional semifinal win over North Montgomery.

Mark Zackery IV, Ben Davis football

The junior defensive back had a pick-six in the fourth quarter of a 28-25 sectional semifinal victory over Brownsburg.
