Here are the candidates for SBLive's Indiana High School Athlete of the Week as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

Sophia Barber, NorthWood girls volleyball

The junior had 22 kills, 20 digs and eight aces over three matches as the Panthers won a Class 3A sectional.

Brayton Belcher, Monrovia football

The senior ran 16 times for 218 yards and two touchdowns in a 44-0 win over Indianapolis Scecina.

Ryan Brotherton, East Central football

The senior scored on three of his eight touches in a 41-7 win over Roncalli. He finished with four catches for 79 yards and two TDs along with four carries for 76 yards and a TD. His 27 career rushing touchdowns have tied the program record.

Tyler Cherry, Center Grove football

The Duke commit threw for 336 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-38 win over Indianapolis Cathedral.

Noah Coy, Center Grove football

The senior caught eight passes for 151 yards and three touchdowns in a 45-38 victory against Indianapolis Cathedral.

Devin Craig, Lapel football

The sophomore quarterback completed 28 of 35 passes for 367 yards and five touchdowns in a 36-31 win over Eastern Hancock.

Hogan Denny, Mooresville football

The senior threw for 177 yards with two touchdowns, and added 45 yards and a touchdown on the ground during a 24-14 win against Perry Meridian.

Larry Ellison, Crown Point football

The junior running back scored three touchdowns in a 38-0 win over Michigan City.

Carson Fettig, Hamilton Heights football

In a 26-23 victory over West Lafayette, the senior scored twice on special teams: an 80-yard punt return and a 76-yard kickoff return.

Jackson Gackenheimer, Warsaw boys cross country

The sophomore won the Manchester Sectional with a time of 15:54.4.

Maverick Geske, Brebeuf Jesuit football

The junior was 7-of-13 passing for 208 yards and five touchdowns in the first half of a 48-27 win over Terre Haute North.

Reid Gillis, Mishawaka Marian boys soccer

The senior scored one goal and assisted on another in a 2-1 Class 2A regional final win over West Lafayette.

Colin Guy, Bishop Chatard football

In a 34-7 win over Cincinnati Elder, the senior caught five passes for 71 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned a fumble 12 yards for another TD.

JonAnthony Hall, Fishers football

The junior caught six passes for 154 yards and a touchdown, and returned a kickoff 99 yards for a TD during a 34-14 victory against Zionsville.

Ellia Hayes, Northview girls cross country

The Indiana commit won the Terre Haute North Sectional, running 19:28.0.

Ava Jarrell, Pendleton Heights girls cross country

The junior took first in the Noblesville Sectional with a time of 18:12.2.

Landon Miller, Greencastle boys cross country

The sophomore won the Terre Haute North Sectional in 16:01.1.

Dakotah Moore, Northridge girls cross country

The sophomore won the Elkhart Sectional at 18:54.

Jayden Ortiz, Wheeler football

The junior passed 1,000 yards rushing for the season, running 24 times for 241 yards and three TDs in a 27-6 win against Griffith.

Quinn Pankiewicz, Mishawaka Marian girls soccer

The junior had two goals and two assists across two matches as the Knights won a Class 2A regional.

Sam Quagliaroli, Fishers boys cross country

The junior won the Noblesville Sectional, running 15:13.7.

Josefina Rastrelli, Warsaw girls cross country

The Indiana commit took first at the Manchester Sectional with a time of 18:09.2.

Jacoby Reinhardt, Bethany Christian boys soccer

The junior had 13 saves in regulation and penalty kicks over a pair of wins in a Class 1A regional.

Brock Riddle, Greenwood football

The Indiana State recruit threw for 246 yards and ran for 48 in a 28-24 loss to Whiteland. He broke the school's single-season record for passing yards.

Josh Ringer, East Central football

The senior had 16 carries for 135 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-7 win over Roncalli. He also caught two passes for 59 yards and another score.

Mark Rowland, Boone Grove football

The junior broke his own single-season program records for passing yards and passing touchdowns in a 45-0 shutout of Bishop Noll.

Jalen Sauer, Indian Creek football

In a 22-21 win over Northview, the senior rushed for 264 yards and a touchdown, and passed for 144 yards and two more scores.

Garrett Sherrell, Brownsburg football

The senior rushed 31 times for 183 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-14 win against Hamilton Southeastern.

Slate Valentine, Whiteland football

The junior carried the ball 22 times for 142 yards and scored all four of the Warriors' touchdowns in a 28-24 win against Greenwood.
