Here are the candidates for SBLive's Indiana High School Athlete of the Week as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

Jarrin Alley, Bloomington South football
In a 41-14 Conference Indiana victory over Terre Haute South, the senior threw for 271 yards and three touchdowns, and added 24 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Cassidy Ayers, Homestead girls golf
Ayers won medalist honors at the Homestead Sectional and helped the hosts win the team title, shooting a 67.
Liam Baushke, Mishawaka boys cross country
The junior won the Class 3A race at the 99-team New Prairie Invitational, running 15:20.7.
Ben Brandenburg, Roncalli football
The senior rushed 25 times for a game-high 152 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-21 Circle City Conference win over Guerin Catholic.
Belle Brown, Delta girls golf
Brown shot a 6-under 66 to earn medalist honors and lead Delta to the Muncie Central Sectional title.
Chloe Cook, Floyd Central girls golf
Cook led a Floyd Central sweep of the top four places at the Corydon Central Sectional, shooting 69.
Noah Coy, Center Grove football
In the Trojans' fifth and final game against an out-of-state opponent to start the season, the senior caught two touchdown passes in a 36-18 win over Harvest Prep (Ohio).
Ben Davies, Evansville Reitz football
The junior completed 10 of 12 passes for 237 yards and three touchdowns, and added a 31-yard rushing touchdown in a Southern Indiana Conference win over Evansville Central.

Kiara Desiderio, Hanover Central girls soccer
The state's leading scorer had a big week with 12 goals in three wins, including a season-high five goals against Kankakee Valley on Sept. 12. The junior midfielder has 37 goals and nine assists for 83 points this season.
Mary Eubank, Penn girls cross country
The senior won the Class AAA race at the 99-team New Prairie Invitational, running 18:21.2.
Brady Fisher, Mishawaka football
In a 42-7 Northern Lakes Conference victory over Plymouth, the senior completed all five of his passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns before coming out with a 42-0 lead.
Jackson Gilbert, Westfield football
In a 30-28 victory against Hamilton Southeastern, the senior completed 18 of 31 passes for 249 yards and two touchdowns, and also ran for a score. His 2-yard touchdown pass was the game-winner.
DJ Gordon, Park Tudor football
The Harvard commit completed 13 of 15 passes for 220 yards and four touchdowns, and ran for 175 yards and two touchdowns in a 47-7 victory against Shenandoah.
Adrion Gregory, Cardinal Ritter football
The senior returned a kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown and had a 42-yard punt return for a score that gave the Raiders the lead in the third quarter of a 37-28 win against Shortridge.
Hannah Ingersoll, Munster girls golf
Ingersoll shot a 71 to earn medalist honors and lead the Mustangs to the Lake Central Sectional title.
Corbin Johnson, South Decatur football
In a 55-8 victory over South Side HomeSchool, the junior carried eight times for 200 yards and three touchdowns, had a 22-yard reception, and totaled three tackles and an interception on defense.
Ashley Kirkland, Castle girls golf
Kirkland won the Evansville Reitz Sectional by 12 strokes, shooting a 66 and leading Castle to the team title.
Kirk Knecht, Greenfield-Central football
The senior opened the scoring with a 29-yard interception return for a touchdown in the first quarter, and finished with three catches for 66 yards and another score in a 47-0 shutout of Shelbyville.
Jeremiah Lee, Beech Grove football
The junior rushed 23 times for a personal-best 242 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-9 win over Southport.
Danny O’Neil, Cathedral football
The Colorado commit completed 14 of 21 passes for 135 yards and five touchdowns while adding a rushing score during a 49-6 win against Indianapolis North Central.
Elijah Pimental, Heritage Christian football
In a 35-21 victory over Scecina, the sophomore had 30 carries for 218 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught four passes for 70 yards and a touchdown.
Willy Shearer, Hobart football
The junior ran for 186 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-24 Northwest Hoosier Conference win against Andrean.
Garrett Sherrell, Brownsburg football
The senior rushed 24 times for 282 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-28 Hoosier Crossroads Conference win over Fishers.
Luke Starnes, Plainfield football
The sophomore ran for four touchdowns in a 46-20 Mid-State Conference victory over Greenwood.
Jace Stuckey, Triton Central football
The Eastern Michigan commit completed 18 of 22 passes for 265 yards, rushed for 188 yards, and accounted for five total touchdowns in a 49-35 victory over Indian Creek.
Caleb Taflinger, Kokomo boys tennis
The sophomore was 5-0 at No. 1 singles, including a pair of wins that helped the Wildkats win the North Central Conference title.
Caiden Verrett, Hanover Central football
The junior rushed 11 times for 159 yards and three touchdowns over three quarters in a 47-7 Northwest Crossroads Conference win against Kankakee Valley.
Delany Wade, Penn girls golf
Wade earned medalist honors and led Penn to the title of their own sectional, shooting 2-under 70.
Malachi Walden, Tri-West football
In a 21-0 Sagamore Conference shutout of Danville, the junior completed 10 of 13 passes for 93 yards and a touchdown, and ran for 205 yards and two scores.
Mark Zackery IV, Ben Davis football
The junior caught 12 passes for 182 yards – both game-high totals – in a 31-28 win against Warren Central.
Lynne Zhang, Culver Academies girls golf
Zhang shot a 71 and won a seven-hole playoff with Warsaw's Abbey Peterson for the individual title at the Warsaw Sectional.
Indianapolis Lutheran's Jackson Willis voted SBLive's Indiana High School Athlete of the Week (Sept. 4-10)
Congratulations to Indianapolis Lutheran football player Jackson Willis, who was voted the SBLive Indiana high school Athlete of the Week for August 28-Sept. 3. He received more than 94 percent of the votes.
In a 43-13 victory over Triton Central, the standout junior quarterback threw three touchdown passes.
Tri-West football player Malachi Walden finished second in the voting.
