20 Illinois wrestlers ranked in latest national rankings (2/17/2024)
The Illinois individual state wrestling championships are Saturday evening at the State Farm Center in Champaign and we are taking another quick look at the nationally-ranked wrestlers to watch.
The state of Illinois has been well represented since the SBLive Sports national wrestling rankings were started a year ago.
In the previous edition of the national rankings, 21 wrestlers from Illinois were ranked among the top 25 in their respective weight classes. This time, there are 20. There are also two more who were noted as honorable mentions to the top 25.
So on the morning of the 2024 Illinois individual wrestling championships we are taking a quick look at those 22 wrestlers.
