Mount Carmel's Angelo Ciaravino voted SBLive’s Illinois High School Athlete of the Week (1/8/2024)

Ciaravino received more than 59 percent of the total votes

Congratulations to Mount Carmel boys basketball player Angelo Ciaravino, who was voted SBLive's Illinois High School Athlete of the Week for December 25-31.

Ciaravino received more than 59 percent of the total votes for the week.

A Northwestern recruit, Ciaravino scored 62 points in four games as the Caravan won the Pekin Holiday Tournament for the third straight time, beating Lake Park 60-41 in the final.

DePaul Prep boys basketball player Jaylan McElroy finished second in the voting after receiving more than 28 percent of the votes.
