Homewood-Flossmoor's Jaeda Murphy voted SBLive’s Illinois High School Athlete of the Week (12/11/2023)
Congratulations to Homewood-Flossmoor girls basketball player Jaeda Murphy, who was voted SBLive's Illinois High School Athlete of the Week for Nov. 27-Dec 3.
She received more than 57 percent of the total votes for the week.
Murphy, a senior, scored a game-high 28 points and had two steals in a 54-43 win against Butler at the Chicago Elite Classic.
South Beloit boys basketball player Ross Robertson finished second in the voting after receiving more than 32 percent of the votes.
