Breese Central's Griffen Becker voted SBLive’s Illinois High School Athlete of the Week (10/30/2023)
Congratulations to Breese Central football player Griffen Becker, who was voted SBLive's Illinois High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 16-22.
He received 1,185 votes, which were more than 61 percent of the total votes.
Becker, a junior, had five catches for 205 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-17 come-from-behind victory at Herrin.
Breese Central football player Preston Baker finished second in the voting after receiving more than 35 percent of the votes.
