Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 12-Feb. 17 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday, Feb. 26th. IDAHO NOMINEES

Ryker Apple, Middleton boys basketball: Put up a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds to go with three assists in a 58-49 Class 5A District III first-round upset of No. 4 Meridian.

Julian Bowe, Pocatello boys basketball: Racked up 21 points and seven rebounds on really one leg as the Thunder downed No. 2 Preston, 66-61, in a Class 4A District V Tournament game.

Kaden Bullock, Marsh Valley boys basketball: Totaled up a game-high 32 points on 10-of-13 shooting in a 67-52 win over American Falls in a Class 3A District V Tournament elimination game.

Kolter Burton, Century boys wrestling: Won his fourth consecutive district championship and did so with his second school with a 26-second pin of Preston’s Dustin Pearce in the Class 4A District V 138-pound final.

Brinley Cannon, Shelley girls basketball: Recorded a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Russets (25-0) to an undefeated season for the first state championship since 2008 -and first in 4A - in a 59-49 win over Skyline.

Teagan Colvin, Coeur d’Alene girls basketball: Averaged nearly 27.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game to lead the Vikings to back-to-back Class 5A state titles -and 11th overall - after a 58-49 win over Lake City.

Rylie Edlefsen, Snake River girls basketball: Logged a game-high 23 points and six assists while still dealing with a fracture in her right shooting hand to lead Panthers in going back-to-back with 3A titles for first time with win over Teton.

Avery Howell, Boise girls basketball: Averaged a double-double for the state tournament with nearly 29 points and 13 rebounds per game to lead the Brave in taking home their fifth consecutive state trophy with a third-place finish at state.

Jackson Rasmussen, Owyhee boys basketball: Totaled double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds to go with four blocks and three assists during a 65-38 win over Centennial in semifinals of the Class 5A District III tournament.

Sydney Smith, Grace girls basketball: Notched double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds as Grizzlies beat Lapwai, 47-40, in the Class 1A Division I final for the second state championship in program history.
