Congratulations to Coeur d'Alene's Kelsey Carroll for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athletes of the Week for Jan. 22-Jan. 27!

This is an important time of year - regional seeding. And the Vikings clinched the No. 2 seed behind Carroll's double double - 20 points and 12 rebounds - in a victory over Post Falls. Carroll tallied 12 of her points in the first quarter.

Banks collected 96.3% of the overall vote.

Kolter Burton, Century boys wrestling: Handed three-time state champion Carson Exferd the first loss of his career in Idaho with a 3-1 overtime in the 138-pound finals of the Red Halverson Invitational.

Anna Dabell, Rocky Mountain girls basketball: Recorded a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds in a 37-24 win over Borah.

Isaac Davis, Hillcrest boys basketball: Netted 26 points in a 70-61 win over No. 1 Preston.

Nash Humphreys, Madison boys basketball: Tallied 27 points and five assists in a 75-50 win over No. 3 and reigning Class 4A state runner-up Pocatello.

CJ Latta, Minico girls basketball: Scored a game-high 24 points in a 65-51 win over Mountain Home.

Stive Ndabarishe, Boise boys basketball: Combined for 48 points and 10 assists in wins over Mountain View and Nampa.

Julia Wassmuth, St. John Bosco girls basketball: Notched a triple-double of 14 points, 10 steals and 10 rebounds in a 42-29 win over Highland (Craigmont).

Mia Williams, Shelley girls basketball: Put up 25 points to help keep the Russets’ perfect record (20-0) intact in a 64-62 win over Skyline.

Kase Wynott, Lapwai boys basketball: Passed Jared Mercer to become Idaho’s new all-time career scoring leader (2,661) with 29 points in a 99-47 rout of Clearwater Valley.
