IDAHO NOMINEES

Olivia Bezdicek, Jerome girls wrestling: Remained unbeaten this season by pinning her to the 120-pound Wiley Dobbs championship in Twin Falls.

Paige Cofer, Eagle girls basketball: Almost had a double-double with 23 points and seven rebounds in a 61-40 win over Borah.

Beckett Gates, Sun Valley Community School boys basketball: Bagged a game-high 33 points in a 51-39 win over Richfield.

Ian Hillman, Moscow boys basketball: Scored 22 of his team-high 26 points in the second half during a 85-82 overtime win over Lakeland.

Jackson Rasmussen, Owyhee boys basketball: Notched a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds in a 73-56 win over Ironwood (AZ) at the Pro Image Classic at Owyhee High School.

Shay Shippen, Skyline girls basketball: Recorded a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds in just 22 minutes of play in a 52-35 win over Rock Springs (WY).

Jadon Skellenger, Bishop Kelly boys wrestling: Kept his perfect high school record intact with a 10-4 win over Dustin Baxter to claim the 160-pound title at the Tri-State Invitational in Coeur d’Alene.

Reese Strawn, Lake City boys basketball: Tallied 31 points in a 74-70 win over reigning state runner-up Bonners Ferry.

Jordyn Tomco, Sandpoint girls basketball: Starting for the first time, ninth grader had 20 points, six rebounds and four steals in a win over Lewiston.

Nathan Tweit, Kendrick boys basketball: Outscored the entire opposing team himself with 30 points to go with seven rebounds, four steals and four assists in an 82-26 win over Timberline.

Sophia Zufelt, Lake City girls basketball: Netted 23 points in a 71-39 win over Lakeland.
