1. EAGLE (9-0)
Last week: Beat No. 2 Meridian, 22-21 (OT)
This week: 5A first-round playoff bye
Noah Burnham rumbled for 186 yards, two touchdowns and the game-winning touchdown to deliver the Mustangs their first 5A Southern Idaho Conference championship since 2016 - the same year it last finished the regular season unbeaten.

2. MERIDIAN (6-3)
Last week:Lost to No. 1 Eagle, 22-21.
This week: 5A first-round playoff bye.
The Warriors barely managed 200 yards of total offense but still overcame a 14-0 first-half deficit to force overtime. They took their lead of the game in the extra time period, but a gutsy Eagle two-point conversion denied them back-to-back titles.

3. HIGHLAND (8-1)
Last week: Beat Thunder Ridge, 29-21.
This week: 5A first-round playoff bye.
Even without starting quarterback Drew Hymas, who sat out for precautionary reasons, the Rams claimed their third consecutive 5A High Country Conference championships, thanks to Jackson Riddle’s 107-yard, two-TD performance.

4. HILLCREST (9-0)
Last week: Beat Idaho Falls, 41-14.
This week: Hosts Canyon Ridge at 7 p.m. Friday in a Class 4A first-round game.
Peyton King threw for 195 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while adding 104 and another score on the ground as the Knights capped the first unbeaten regular season in program history, taking the top seed overall seed at state.

5. BISHOP KELLY (9-0)
Last week: Beat Skyview, 36-7.
This week: Hosst Burley at 7 p.m. Friday in a Class 4A first-round game.
Peter Minnart ran for 159 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Oregon State offensive lineman Rakeem Johnson scored on a hook-and-lateral play as Knights capped back-to-back 4A SIC titles and undefeated regular seasons.

6. BOISE (7-2)
Last week: Beat Centennial, 22-15.
This week: Hosts Owyyhee at 7 p.m. Friday at Dona Larsen Park in a Class 5A first-round playoff game.
Cooper Smith ended the Brave’s 21-year playoff drought - the longest in the 5A classification - on a 1-yard touchdown run with 90 seconds remaining. It also gave them the most wins they’ve had in a season in 31 years.

7. MOUNTAIN VIEW (6-3)
Last week: Beat Capital, 37-21.
This week: Travels to Post Falls at 7 p.m. Friday in a Class 5A first-round playoff game.
Henry Nelson tossed three touchdown passes and Valentin Gomez-Rick eclipsed the century mark on the ground with 123 yards as the Mavericks advanced to the postseason for the 11th consecutive year.

8. ROCKY MOUNTAIN (6-3)
Last week: Beat Kuna, 35-6.
This week: Hosts Borah at 7 p.m. Friday in a Class 5A first-round playoff game.
Grizzlies held the Kavemen to just 118 yards of total offense and it was the sixth time this season that an opponent failed to score more than 20 points against them. They’re heading to the playoffs for the 12th year in a row, too.

9. COEUR D’ALENE (7-2)
Last week: Beat Lewiston, 29-16.
This week: 5A first-round playoff bye.
Vikings scored 19 unanswered second-half points to avoid dreaded Kansas City tiebreaker playoff and win their sixth 5A Inland Empire League title in seven years. Also back in the postseason after missing out for the first time in 13 years in 2022.

10. POCATELLO (5-2)
Last week: Beat Century, 42-8.
This week: Hosts Preston at 8:15 p.m. Friday in a Class 4A first-round playoff game.
Dre Contreras passed for 182 yards and two touchdowns, while running for 54 yards and two more scores on the ground to lead the Thunder to their third consecutive 4A South East Idaho Conference championship.
