Here is the Week 9 list compiled by SBLive Idaho correspondent Brandon Walton:

1. EAGLE (8-0)
Last week: Beat Borah, 43-21.
This week: Hosts No. 2 Meridian at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Davis Harsin had his best game of the year going 17-of-24 for 258 yards and four touchdowns to keep the Mustangs’ perfect season intact. They’ll now look for their first 5A Southern Idaho Conference championship since 2016.

2. MERIDIAN (6-2)
Last week: Beat Capital, 55-14.
This week: Travels to No. 1 Eagle at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Zeke Martinez went 14-of-16 for 221 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Cole Jones hauled in most of those with 114 yards and a score as the Warriors rattled off their sixth consecutive win after starting the year 0-2.

3. HIGHLAND (7-1)
Last week: Beat Madison, 38-28.
This week: Travels to Thunder Ridge at 7 p.m. Friday.
Senior quarterback Drew Hymas accounted for all but one touchdown and senior running back Jackson Riddle had scores of 89 and 78 yards as the Rams moved within one win of a third consecutive 5A High Country Conference title.

4. HILLCREST (8-0)
Last week: Beat Shelley, 28-16.
This week: Travels to Idaho Falls at 7 p.m. Friday.
Peyton King ran for 77 yards and a touchdown while throwing for another one to help the Knights remain unbeaten. Trason Keller also reached the end zone on the ground for Hillcrest, which continues its best start in decades.

5. BISHOP KELLY (8-0)
Last week: Beat Columbia, 49-0.
This week: Hosts Skyview at 7 p.m. Friday.
No Peter Minnaert? No problem. Tylan Kaschmitter ran for 129 yards and a pair of touchdowns on just 15 carries in his place as the Knights ran their regular season unbeaten streak to 23 games.

6. BOISE (6-2)
Last week: Lost to Kuna, 47-44.
This week: Hosts Centennial at 7 p.m. Friday
Brave suffered their worst setback of the season to a Kavemen team that had lost four of its five games - three by double digits. But they still remain just one win away from ending the 5A classification’s longest playoff drought (21 years).

7. MOUNTAIN VIEW (5-3)
Last week: Beat Nampa, 27-0.
This week: Hosts Capital at 7 p.m Friday.
Mavericks posted their first shutout of the season and now will look for back-to-back wins for the first time since Week 2. And by doing so it will give them their 11th consecutive postseason appearance.

8. ROCKY MOUNTAIN (5-3)
Last week: Beat Timberline, 43-10.
This week: Hosts Kuna at 7 p.m. Friday.
Grizzlies held an opponent to under 20 points for the fourth time in five games while also having a standout day on offense with nearly 400 total yards. Most of that came on the ground with 246 yards and five touchdowns.

9. COEUR D’ALENE (6-2)
Last week: Beat Post Falls, 34-21.
This week: Hosts Lewiston at 7 p.m. Friday.
Vikings shut out the 5A classification’s top offense for three-plus quarters and still held them to more than 20 points below their average to move within one win of their sixth league title in seven years.

10. POCATELLO (4-2)
Last week: Beat Preston, 49-6.
This week: Travels to Century at 7 p.m. Friday.
Julian Bowie and Carson Christensen combined for 202 yards and four touchdowns as the Thunder put up a long-awaited offensive showcase with 414 yards of total offense to move within a win of a third 4A South East Conference title in a row.
