Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 2-Oct. 7 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday, Oct. 16th. IDAHO NOMINEES

Ella Arnzen, Timberline girls golf: Erased a one-shot deficit on the final hole with par to finish 7-over 151 to take home the Class 5A girls individual state championship.

Cara Carter, Bishop Kelly girls golf: Led wire-to-wire and finished with a 2-over 146 to walk away with the Class 4A girls individual state crown as a sophomore.

Josh Hardy, Valley football: Combined for 344 yards and seven touchdowns, including four rushing scores in a 66-34 upset over Lighthouse Christian.

Ryan Lewis, Middleton football: Hauled in three catches for 120 yards and a touchdown, while racking up 10 tackles on defense in 27-7 win over Capital.

Eli Newell, Bonners Ferry girls soccer: Pulled off the hat trick (three goals) in an 8-1 win over St. Maries.

Gavin Rasmussen, Declo football: Notched 10 receptions for 126 yards and a pair of touchdowns in come-frome-behind 27-26 win over then-No. 1 West Side.

Nelah Roberts, Skyline girls cross country: Recorded the state’s fastest 5K time at 17 minutes, 36.1 seconds for a fourth-place finish at the national Nike 'Hole in the Wall' cross country invitational at Lakewood High School (WA).

Beau Sahr, Eagle boys golf: Beat out Boise’s Reid Piron in a four-hole playoff to finish 4-under 140 to claim the Class 5A boys individual state championship.

Dylan Uhlenkott, Prairie football: Tallied 344 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a 54-44 shootout win over rival Lapwai.

Jaxon Wright, Vallivue boys golf: Shot a 1-under 71 on the final day to move from second to first place to finish 1-over 145 for the Class 4A boys individual title.
