Each week, SBLive Idaho will update its all-classification top-10 high school football rankings.

Here is the Week 6 list compiled by SBLive Idaho correspondent Brandon Walton:

---

1. EAGLE (5-0)

Last week: Beat Nampa, 34-7.

This week: Hosts No. 2 Boise at 7 p.m. Friday.

Mustangs kept undefeated season intact with 20 points in the fourth quarter alone, thanks to another 100-yard performance from sophomore running back Noah Burnham (110 yards, two TDs).

---

2. BOISE (5-0)

Last week: Beat No. 3 Mountain View, 35-21.

This week: Travels to No. 1 Eagle at 7 p.m. Friday.

What a story! Brave upended perennial power Mountain View for just the second time in program history. They’re off to their best start since 1989. But Boise hasn’t beaten Eagle in more than 20 years.

---

3. MOUNTAIN VIEW (3-2)

Last week: Lost to No. 2 Boise, 35-21.

This week: Hosts Kuna at 7 p.m. Friday.

Last time the Mavericks came off a tough loss, they bounced back with a double-digit win. And Eagle has outscored Kuna, 137-39, in its past three meetings.

---

4. MERIDIAN (3-2)

Last week: Beat No. 6 Highland, 21-14.

This week: Hosts Centennial at 7 p.m. Friday.

Seemingly forgotten following an 0-2 start, the Warriors have re-entered the title picture with three consecutive wins. Next up is Centennial, which hasn’t beaten them since 2016.

---

5. ROCKY MOUNTAIN (3-2)

Last week: Beat Centennial, 33-19.

This week: Hosts Capital at 7 p.m. Friday.

Grizzlies ended two-game slide by having three different players run for at least 51 yards (238 total). Rocky Mountain will look for its sixth consecutive win over Capital, which it has outscored, 239-86.

---

6. HIGHLAND (4-1)

Last week: Lost to No. 4 Meridian, 21-14.

This week: Travels to Blackfoot at 7 p.m. Friday.

Sloppy Rams, who were shut out in the second half last week suffered first home loss in nearly two years. But they have winless Blackfoot on schedule Friday.

---

7. HILLCREST (5-0)

Last week: Beat No. 10 Pocatello, 21-14.

This week: Travels to Madison at 7 p.m. Friday.

Knights have now established themselves as team to beat in the state following back-to-back wins over the previous top-two teams in Class 4A (Skyline, Poky).

---

8. BISHOP KELLY (5-0)

Last week: Beat Vallivue, 49-0.

This week: Travles to Burley at 7 p.m. Friday.

Now winners of 20 regular-season games in a row, the Knights continue to roll on both sides of the ball under new coach Chris Culig - averaging nearly 46.0 points per game while giving up 7.4.

---

9. COEUR D’ALENE (3-2)

Last week: Lost to Woodinville (WA), 28-16.

This week: Travels to Union (WA) at 7 p.m. Friday.

Viks will travel to border state in back-to-back weekends, and are coming off a loss in which they gave up too many big-chunk pass plays.

---

10. POCATELLO (2-2)

Last week: Lost to No. 7 Hillcrest, 21-14.

This week: Travels to Shelley at 7 p.m. Friday.

Thunder finished up a brutal stretch of back-to-back games against Power-10 teams, losing both by a touchdown apiece. But it doesn’t get much easier with Shelley, winner of three games in a row.
