Hillcrest football player Peyton King voted WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to Knights' signal caller for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athlete of the Week for Sept. 4-Sept. 9!

Congratulations to Burley's Mack Jensen for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Athletes of the Week for Sept. 4-Sept. 9!

In a 41-7 win against District 6 rival Blackfoot, the Knights got off to a fast start - and King was a big reason why. The quarterback threw for 313 yards and four touchdowns, including a 37-yard score to Titan Larsen on the team's opening series as they built a 27-0 lead.

King collected 62.1% of the overall vote and finished ahead of Boise girls soccer player Grace Hatch, who had 37.1% of the vote.
