Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Georgia High School Boys Basketball Coach of the Week of Jan. 15-Jan. 20 as nominated SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday, Jan. 29th.

Here are the nominees:

Jordan Griffin, Peachtree Ridge: Not many teams are playing as well as Peachtree Ridge right now. Griffin has this team humming with five straight wins as the month of January comes to a close.

Antoine Stroud, Archer: Another team that's gotten red hot as of late if the Archer Tigers under Stroud. The head coach has led Archer to four straight wins, including over Newton and Brookwood.

Jason Dasinger, Etowah: The Eagles have yet to suffer a loss in 2024 and a lot has to do with the coaching of Dasinger. The Etowah lead man has the Eagles playing some of their best ball, winners of seven straight games.

Jon-Michael Nickerson, Sandy Creek: Nickerson entered the new year making sure that Sandy Creek started to play its best basketball with the postseason coming ever closer. Undefeated in 2024, Nickerson has led the Patriots on a 7-game win streak currently.

Kim Rivers, Shiloh: It's no surprise that Shiloh is playing really well, but the winning streak they're on can't be ignored. Rivers has his team peaking, with the Generals having won seven in a row. This team should go deep come playoff time.

Pernell Smith, Coffee: The Trojans are not just good at football ya know. Smith has Coffee playing some pretty good basketball as well, winners of three in a row.
