Banks County (Georgia) tabs Todd Winter as new head football coach

The former Holy Innocents head coach takes over after seven seasons with the Golden Bears

After seven seasons at the helm of the Holy Innocents Golden Bears’ football program, Todd Winter will be getting a change of scenery.

Winter will be making the move an hour east of Atlanta for his next head coaching gig.

Late on Saturday night, Banks County’s football social media handle on X, formerly known as Twitter, announced the hiring of Winter as the Leopards’ new head football coach.

Banks County is coming off a disappointing 4-6 campaign and bring in Winter, who is no stranger to turning programs around. Before being the head coach at Holy Innocents, Winter held the same position at Pinecrest Academy and compiling a record of 36-19.

Winter through his seven campaigns with the Golden Bears compiled an overall record of 56-27.
