Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Georgia High School Girls Basketball Coach of the Week of Jan. 8-Jan. 13 as nominated SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced Monday, Jan. 22nd.

Here are the nominees:

DeeDee Dillard, Rabun County: There might not be anything on this list that can match the accomplishment Dillard had at the beginning of last week. Dillard, who is an alumnus of the school, won her 400th career game as the head coach at Rabun County.

Brent Moore, Schley County: The Wildcats' lead man has his ball club playing some really good basketball right now. Moore has Schley County on a 3-game winning streak, with victories over Greenville, Sherwood Christian and Webster County.

Myosha Leeper, Glynn Academy: In her second season as the Terrors head coach Leeper has this team starting to peak in the second half of the season. Glynn Academy has won four straight games.

Sally Echols, Model: Echols has the Blue Devils on a roll in 2024 right now, winners of three straight games. Wins came up against Gordon Central, Rockmart and Unity Christian.

Dock Gammage, Union Grove: There's not many teams playing better than the Wolverines right now. Gammage has Union County sitting at 16-1 heading into mid-January, riding a 5-game winning streak.

Julie Conner Johnson, Tift County: For the year 2024, the Blue Devils are currently undefeated. Conner Johnson has her girls playing as good as anyone in South Georgia, with a perfect 5-0 record in January so far.
