ATLANTA, GEORGIA – This Georgia Class 1A-Division 1 state championship showdown between Bowdon and Manchester is part of the 2023 Georgia high school football championships, which will feature nine games over three days at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

- McGrinn runs down to the one and slides down intentionally to keep the clock running. Manchester uses its final timeout with 1:20 to play.
- A face-mask call gives Bowdon a first and goal at the 11. Timeout with 1:28 left. It will take a miracle now for the Blue Devils.
- Beasley grinds for eight. The Red Devils are looking to close this out with 2:00 minutes to go.
- McGrinn with another big run. He bursts down to the 30 for a first down at the 32.
- Another two-yards for Beasley as the clock goes below four minutes.
- Beasley with a big first down run to the Manchester 49.
- McGrinn drops back in the pocket, sees no one open and sprints for 14 yards and a huge first down. 5:30 left.

- Manchester has moved out to its own 49. There was a fumble, but we are waiting on a ruling to determine if forward progress was halted.
