The first round of the Georgia high school football playoffs is in the books.

Now it’s time to voice your opinion on which player should be named SBLive’s North Georgia high school football offensive player of the week.

Read up on this week's six candidates below and let us know your pick. Voting will conclude on Saturday, November 18th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

North Georgia Offensive Player of the Week

Congratulations to last week's winner: Toby Maddux of Trion


Javin Gordon, Stephens County: The junior racked up 233 all-purpose yards, with 197 of them coming on the ground, and scored three touchdowns as Stephens County beat Carver-Atlanta, 31-13.

Jeremy Hecklinski, Walton: The Wake Forest commit went 11-for-12 with 206 yards and five passing touchdowns as nationally ranked Walton raced past Mountain View, 66-7.

Toby Maddux, Trion: The senior finished with 11 carries for 184 yards (16.7 yards per carry) and three touchdowns in Trion’s 49-0 win against St. Francis.

KJ Smith, Roswell: The senior went 13-for-21 with 224 yards and one passing touchdown, and he rushed 10 times for 100 yards and three touchdowns as Roswell beat River Ridge, 51-24.

Caiden Tanner, Union County: The senior went 20-for-30 with 229 yards and one touchdown through the air, and he ran 19 times for 84 yards and one touchdown in Union County’s 24-17 win over Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy.

Walker Warshaw, Mount Vernon: The junior ran the ball 29 times for 203 yards and two touchdowns as Mount Vernon advanced to the second round with a 35-7 win over Pepperell.
