The first round of the Georgia high school football playoffs is in the books.

Now it’s time to voice your opinion on which player should be named SBLive’s Middle Georgia high school football offensive player of the week.

Read up on this week's five candidates below and let us know your pick. Voting will conclude on Saturday, November 18th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Middle-GA-Off

Congratulations to last week's winner: Anthony Jeffery of Thomson


Ashton Arnett, Luella: The junior rushed for three touchdowns as Luella beat East Forsyth, 26-21.

Devin Edmonds, Jones County: The junior completed 15 of 18 passes for 302 yards and five touchdowns as Jones County knocked out Northside-Columbus, 42-21.

Jim Franklin, Aquinas: The junior completed 13 of 19 passes for 352 yards and six touchdowns to lead Aquinas past Glascock County, 49-28.

Anthony Jeffery, Thomson: The junior finished with 22 carries for 134 yards and two touchdowns to help Thomson take down Jeff Davis, 40-0.

Beau Polcha, Augusta Prep: The sophomore rushed 23 times for 163 yards and three touchdowns in Augusta Prep’s 27-11 win over Georgia Christian.

Mataye Youman, Harris County: The senior carried the ball 28 times for 200 yards and four touchdowns as Harris County defeated Ola, 42-20.
