Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Georgia high school football coach of the week (Nov. 10-11) as nominated by our SBLive staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Saturday, November 18 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced next week.

Here are this week's nominees:

Drew Swick, Collins Hill: The Eagles pulled off one of the bigger wins in the first round of the Georgia High School playoffs, regardless of classification, when they marched into North Cobb and beat them 45-14. Led by first-year head coach Drew Swick, the Eagles travel to face Milton in a rematch from earlier in the season this Friday.

Matt Helmerich, Peachtree Ridge: The Lions won their first playoff game since 2016 last Friday night when they beat Lambert 20-17 at home. Led by head coach Matt Helmerich, the Lions also reached their first 10-win season in nine years with the win.

Edgar Carson, Lovejoy: The Wildcats pulled off the ever-so-hard No. 4 seed upset last Friday night in the first round of the playoffs after beating Effingham County 47-14. The Wildcats are led by head coach Edgar Carson, who earned his third career playoff win at Lovejoy with the win.

Steve Gates, Cass: Playing in a Challenging Region 7-5A paid dividends for the Colonels last Friday night in the first round of the playoffs went they knocked off No. 1 seed Kell 28-14. Led by head coach Steve Gates, the win marks the first time in program history that the Colonels have won playoff games in back-to-back years.

Tim Floyd, Jonesboro: For the first time since 2015, the Cardinals have won a playoff game. Led by head coach Tim Floyd, the Cardinals made the long trek down to Glynn Academy and came away with a 32-31 win to advance into the second round of the Class 6A state playoffs.
