Now it’s time to voice your opinion on which player should be named SBLive’s Middle Georgia high school football defensive player of the week.

Read up on this week's five candidates below and let us know your pick. Voting will conclude on Saturday, November 11th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Congratulations to last week's winner: Holden Hajek of Harris County


Rinaldo Callaway, Southwest-Macon: The sophomore made seven tackles, including four tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks, as Southwest-Macon beat Central, 37-0.

Jeremiah Gilmore, Jenkins County: The senior racked up eight tackles for loss and one sack in a 36-34 loss to Portal.

Evan Harvey, Sandy Creek: The sophomore added to his sack total (nine this season) with two sacks and two tackles for loss as Sandy Creek defeated Douglass, 22-21.

Jackson Rowley, Mount de Sales: The sophomore recorded seven tackles in addition to making an interception and causing a fumble in Mount de Sales' 45-14 win over Athens Christian.

Parker Shattuck, LaGrange: The South Alabama commit tallied six tackles, including one tackle for loss, as well as an interception and forced fumble in Callaway’s 37-3 win over Troup County.
