The Dragons can clinch a playoff spot with either a win or a White County loss on Friday night.

Michael Perry, Union County: The Panthers scored a huge 35-21 win over Athens Academy last Friday night to secure a spot in the Class 2A state playoffs. Led by head coach Michael Perry, the Panthers have a chance to win Region 8-2A Friday night with a win against Fellowship Christian.

Bryan Lamar, South Gwinnett: Needing a win to keep their postseason aspirations alive, the Comets took down Newton 31-28 last Thursday night. Led by head coach Bryan Lamar, the Comets can now get into the playoffs with a win against Brookwood and a Newton loss to Archer on Friday night.

Von Lassiter, Bleckley County: The Royals capped off their 2023 regular season with a 21-20 statement win over Swainsboro last Friday night to clinch the Region 2-A Divison 1 Championship. Led by head coach Von Lassiter, it’s the Royals' second region championship in three years.
