Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Georgia high school football coach of the week (Oct. 20-21) as nominated by our SBLive staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Saturday, October 28 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Here are this week's nominations:

Justin Rogers, Thomas County Central: The Yellow Jackets moved to 8-0 on the season last Friday night after blanking Houston County 27-0 on the road. Led by head coach Justin Rogers, the Yellow Jackets will look for another big win this Friday against Lee County.

Dante Williams, Archer: After starting off the season a disappointing 1-3, the Tigers have since won four in a row, including back-to-back games against Parkview and South Gwinnett to take over first place in Region 4-7A. Led by head coach Dante Williams, the Tigers now control their own destiny for the region championship.

Ryan Andrews, Heritage-Conyers: The Patriots earned their first region win in two years after defeating Winder-Barrow 40-21 last Friday night. Led by head coach Ryan Andrews, the Patriots appear to be headed in the right direction after a rough couple of seasons.

Shelton Felton, Valdosta: The Wildcats earned a big 24-21 win over Camden County last Friday night to remain unbeaten in Region 1-7A play this season. Led by head coach Shelton Felton, the Wildcats are searching for their first region championship since 2016.

Matt Napier, LaGrange: The Grangers won another big win last Friday night, defeating Trinity Christian 42-14 to move to 4-1 in Region 4-4A. Led by head coach Matt Napier, the Grangers find themselves in a three-way tie for first place in the region with Troup and Starr’s Mill.
