The eighth week of the Georgia high school football season is in the books.

Now it’s time to voice your opinion on which player should be named SBLive’s Middle Georgia high school football offensive player of the week.

Read up on this week's six candidates below and let us know your pick. Voting will conclude on Saturday, October 14th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Devin Edmonds, Jones County: Edmonds showed off his arm in a win over Ola. The junior went 26-for-32 with 361 yards and six touchdowns through the air.

Jim Franklin, Aquinas: Franklin had a perfect night in a 40-6 win over Towns County. In two quarters, the junior completed all eight of his pass attempts for 223 yards and four touchdowns.

Antone Johnson, Tattnall Square Academy: Johnson had 16 carries for 148 yards and two touchdowns, as Tattnall Square picked up a 34-7 win against Stratford Academy.

Dionte Jones, East Coweta: Jones made the most of his touches in a loss to Carrollton, averaging nearly 10 yards per carry. The senior ran the ball 14 times for 138 yards and one touchdown.

Jayden “Duke” Scott, Stockbridge: The North Carolina State commit had another productive game running the ball in a win against Lovett. Scott carried the ball 15 times for 203 yards and four touchdowns.

Duke Watson, Mary Persons: After scoring five touchdowns a week ago, Watson one-upped himself with six rushing touchdowns in a win over Jackson.
