Now it’s time to voice your opinion on which player should be named SBLive’s Middle Georgia high school football defensive player of the week.

Cade Bates, Northgate: Two weeks after winning player of the week, Bates stuffed the run several times in a 56-21 win against McIntosh, as the senior racked up four tackles for loss.
Baylor Davis, Harlem: Davis was all over the field in a win against Hephzibah. The junior had 18 tackles, including one tackle for loss, and he caused and recovered a fumble.
Brandon Grissom Jr., Lakeside-Evans: Grissom wreaked havoc in a loss to Brunswick. The junior had nine tackles, including four tackles for loss and two sacks.
Tyler Moore, Luella: Moore dominated in a 26-7 win over Woodland. The senior finished with nine tackles, including five tackles for loss and four sacks.
Caleb Reid, Newnan: Reid got to the quarterback often in a 34-10 win over Alexander. The senior had seven tackles, including a season-high three sacks.
Jaden Wuerth, Aquinas: Wuerth continued his breakout 2023 campaign in a 40-6 victory against Towns County. The freshman tallied 15 tackles, including four tackles for loss and one sack.
