Here are six candidates for your voting consideration

Each week of the Georgia high school softball season we will nominate several candidates for our Georgia high school softball hitter of the week honors and invite you to show your support for the candidate you believe is most deserving by voting.

Read up on our candidates below and let us know your pick. Voting will conclude on Sunday, October 15th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominations:

Hannah Cole, Lambert

Cole had a fabulous game versus Forsyth Central. At the plate she went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, and five RBIs and in the circle, she was dominant with nine strikeouts and only one run allowed.

Addison Rackley, Buford

Rackley had a night versus Central Gwinnett, she hit her first career grand slam and a double to drive in six total RBIs.

Shayla Bahr, Wesleyan

Bahr was 3-for-3 with a double, triple, and home run and was a single short of the cycle in the win over Gilmer.

Cayla Crooks, Jonesboro

In two games last week Crooks went 5-for-6 with a double, triple, home run and seven RBIs in wins over Morrow and Drew.

Marian Collins, Mount Paran Christian

In two games last week, one versus North Paulding and the other versus Therrell, Collins went 4-for-6 with three home runs and eight RBIs.

Brianna Pryor, Central

In two games last week versus Northeast and Southwest, Pryor went 6-for-6 with a double, triple, home run and drove in eight runs.
