It's time once again for us to highlight the top offensive performers from the past week in South Georgia high school football. It is also your turn to vote and tell us who you believe is the top performer of the week.

Below is our poll with five candidates for your consideration, along with details on their performance from this past week. Voting will conclude on Saturday, September 30th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Editor’s note: Our corresponding poll is intended to be fun, and we do not set limits on how many times a fan can vote during the competition. The poll is specifically for fans to vote on the players that have been nominated and in no way discredits any other player that may not be mentioned in our poll.

Here are this week's nominations.

Antavious Murphy, Bainbridge: The Bearcats scored their biggest win of the season Friday night against Ware County, and senior Antavious Murphy was a big reason why. Murphy hauled in 13 receptions for 177 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for another. He finished the game with 242 all-purpose yards.

Devin Gale, Seminole County: Junior running back Devin Gale made the most of his 11 touches Friday night against Atkinson County. He rushed for 123 yards and scored two of their three touchdowns to help lead them to a 19-7 victory.

Caden Clay, Northside-Columbus: Patriots quarterback Caden Clay had one of the better games of his young career Friday night in a 34-20 win over Westover. The junior accounted for three touchdowns - two passing and one rushing - and finished with 173 yards passing and 53 yards rushing in the win.

Ricky Johnson, Houston County: Bears senior wide receiver Ricky Johnson picked up touchdowns 7, 8 and 9 on the season in a 41-7 blowout of Warner Robins last Friday night. His 113 yards gives him four 100-yard receiving games out of five this season.

Colter Ginn, Perry: Panthers senior quarterback Colter Ginn was lights out last Friday night against Howard, completing 16 of 26 for 218 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-0 shutout of the Huskies. He finished the game with a 126.8 passe rating.
