Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Georgia high school football coach of the week (Sept. 14-16) as nominated by our SBLive staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Voting will conclude on Saturday, September 23 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Congratulations to last week's winners: Rodney Colfield of McDonough and Matt Turner of East Hall.


Here are this week's nominations.

Josh Skelton, Newton: The Rams pulled off one of the bigger victories in Week 5, taking down No. 7 ranked Westlake 27-12 to improve to 5-0 on the season. Josh Skelton is in his first year as head coach of the Rams.

Philip Jones, Brookwood: The Broncos trailed Carver-Columbus 22-0 before storming back to win 23-22 on a last-second field goal by Caitlyn Soroka. Led by head coach Philip Jones, the Broncos snapped a 2-game skid with the win.

Marc Beach, Lambert: The Longhorns improved to 4-0 on the season after taking down Flowery Branch 49-33 last Friday night. Led by head coach Marc Beach, the Longhorns are 4-0 for the third season in a row.

Ben Reaves, Milton: After a slow start to the season, the Eagles have found their stride and improved to 3-1 on the season after beating Alpharetta 37-12 last Friday night. The Eagles are led by head coach Ben Reaves.

Tom Causey, Ola: For the first time since 2020, the Mustangs are 4-0 after beating Eastside 42-14 last Friday night. The Mustangs lost by the same score last season. They are led by second-year head coach Tom Causey.
